Let's start with the cons. Gets hot to the touch. That's the bad thing.On to the pros. Super bright, when mounted to the wall wall don't get hot. Easily installed, the cord could be longer but work great. I have a few different black light bars. The build quality of this one is so much better. I like it so much I bought a second one. Excellent value for the money. Don't wait get yours now.

Given the fact that this adjustable light comes with screws to permanently mount it to my wall, I expected it to work properly for at least a year after installing it. Unfortunately my expectations were not met. For as long as it functioned, the UV blacklight illuminated my pin board beneath it perfectly. About two months later, half the bulbs within the lamp were broken. Less than a month after that, the lamp quit turning on altogether. Now it’s trash. If you’re looking for a one-time-use blacklight for a party or special occasion, this might suffice. I absolutely would not rely on it for a long term daily basis. And definitely do not leave it within reach of small children because the bulbs gets dangerously hot almost instantly. I did a lot of shopping around and review reading before making this purchase, so I am quite disappointed. Steer clear of this manufacturer!

Even brighter than I thought. Bought two of these for a backyard Halloween party. They work great, and still impress me. Too powerful for a bedroom. One is perfect for a garage. Don't believe these reviews about them being so hot they would burn a house down. Yes they get hot, but no more than a incandescent bulb. Unless you're using next to a gas soaked rag and dried leaves, you'll be fine.I would say two of these would be enough to light up a 200 person banquet hall. Stand is pretty sturdy, and the lights still work like new. Keep one in my garage to play darts. Great purchase.

I have 3 of these panels, and I really like them, whatever does get hit by them glows almost as nice as my old fluorescent black light tubes that I always ran. Those tubes are getting expensive and hard to find, so I was looking for a more modern solution to light my garage, which is a hang out place for friends and family. These work ok, but I honestly some other more radiant source to meet my needs. Still, I was able to illuminate the gaming table and my warhammer showcase pretty well with these, Which is the most important stuff I want hit with black light. I run Death Guard so I get to use lots of florescent green slime and flames, and I've been adding more and more UV decoration else where to make stuff look neat.If you are looking for a way to light up a display these are great, but if you want to fill space these aren't what you want. Lesson learned. No regrets, but I shoulda just bought the tubes, because I need to spend at least that much to address the situation with all the LED products I've tried so far. Nothing beats those inefficient t12 tubes for black light effect and coverage, it's kind of annoying lol. All the LED black lights, bulbs, strips, these, even those led tubes, need to be much closer to get the same effect, if you get it at all.The reason I docked it a star is that these things really start to lose punch even just 6-8 feet away from the light source. They do hit stuff further away but the glow is very dim in comparison, so I had unbolt these and move them around and basically put everything much closer than I would have liked. At least these put out a good amount of UV, There's an awful lot of products that just put out purple and not UV that I've tried in my quest to replace the tubes, The things don't do that, they're the first thing I've tried that gets close to the same glow. They are really nice if you can get them out of eye level, something I was only able to do effectively for one of the 3 that I bought..

I purchased the 80 watt and was not happy with the brightness. It was ok for painting but didn't really light up the room. This 100 watt light is great. Its a small unit, will fit nicely over a door. Seems to be a quality product. Can't say yet if it gets too hot or if leds last.
