Our vehicle wasn’t manually shifting properly. Sometimes it wouldn’t go all the way into park. My husband changed it out with this one. It fit properly and shifts like it should. The installation took a little while due to removing interior floor mat. All in all it was a quality part, works great, and well worth the cost.

the holding clip ears broke i had to use a zip tie and a hose clamp on the end to hold it in the shifting bracket on the transmission so i could drive mt truck also the adjustment for the selector to tell you what gear it is in i either had park and no low gear or i had low gear and no park so for now i have no low gear so i can drive my truck i am very unsatisfied with your product

This will not fit on a 2004 gmc duramax it's too long for the allison transmission,,the break I had was in the top half of the cable , I was able to use the top half to the steering column of this part and us the existing oem lower half which wasn't damaged and the connection mated fine and works as intended .

link at transmission was 2 inches too long , would not work, had to get oem cable, don't waste your time , go oem
