I needed to run a new circuit in my house, which is all conduit, and needed a fish to pull it since the conduit was already filled. I originally got a klein brand but leader broke off so I returned it. I got this because of the low price, especially since it was just for the 1 run.The fish is very flexible and bends and doesnt kink. The reel is a little cheap feeling and doesnt spin all the well, but again for me it was just for 1 big run.

I love this fish tape! I was in the middle of a project when I needed this, and it came in clutch! my old school wish tape is metal, and some times it just doesn't work the best with how it is designed. This tape is flexible enough to pull through conduit, but also stiff enough to push through some wall insulation. 4/5 stars because the slide case works well, but not as good as I had hoped. I have other fish tapes that the case works much better on, but this one still works fine.

This fish tape seems to work well and features an easy-to-use real. The fish tape pulls out of the reel without getting hung up and the reel pulls the fish tape back in without any issues. The brake lever on the handle of the fish tape doesn’t seem to do much but it might be a handy addition in the right situation. The fish tape itself provides the perfect mix of stiffness and flexibility to easily pull multiples wires through either metal or PVC conduits. I used this fish tape to pull 3 12awg wires through an 80ft length of 1/2" EMT and the fish tape pulled the wires without any issues whatsoever. The fish tape reel is the perfect size to easily maintain a firm grasp on the fish tape and allows users to quickly roll the reel to pull the fish tape back in. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality and functionality of this fish tape and expect to use it regularly.

I purchased this fish tape prior to wiring a basement and a garage. Some of the wiring required running conduit and fishing the wires through. I already had the old style flat tape that can be a pain to get around corners. This tape is well constructed and very strong. The flexibility plus stiffness is a perfect for making the pushing through the bends and pulling the wires back through. I fished everything from small Cat7 to solid 6 AWG THHN.While fishing wires isn't ever a pleasant job, this fish tape definitely was an improvement over my old flat fish tape.

Was able to easily fish half a dozen ethernet and low voltage cables thru 3/4 PVC without needing to lube the wires which my old flat "steel" fish tape was not able to do. Bends well with no hangups the only thing I am hesitant about is the metal pull head which may become an issue when I need to pull some 120V wires later this week - would have preferred it was all the same non-conductive material as the snake itself (I will wrap it in tape just to play it safe).

The "islewire 125 ft Electrical Fish Tape, 3/16-inch PET Wire Puller with Optimized Housing" has come in quite handy for our recent DIY wiring projects. The design of the coil seems to prevent it from snagging on items while pulling through. It comes out fairly smoothly and recoils well. At 125 feet it gives me plenty of length. I like the built-in thumb lock. The housing itself is not the most heavy duty but has held up fine for me so far. Arrived quickly and damage free.

Great fish tape, I like the round wire a lot more than the flat ones because it can do bends so much better. handle is comfortable and easy to control.

The build quality seems ok, it definitely is a little less weight than the competing electrical snake brand it mimics that starts with a K. The head of the snake screws on which hopefully does not affect its performance and cause it to come apart during pulling or fishing. I love the material build of the actual snake. It seems very strong and very thin which will help manuever is tight spaces. The snake pulls out and coils up well. I have not tested the sneak head’s conductivity in some of its metal areas, I hope it is truly non conductive. Will update the review after use and testing of the metallic nature of some of the components.
