Reasonable price compared to the name brand fasteners. You have to be careful as they crack easily. Time will tell how they hold up.

Fairly strong steel screws, they don't strip easily. Tapered threads help them go in faster. Fit TREX Enhance grooves perfectly, will likely work with all major deck board brands. Includes an orange plastic spacer that also acts as a depth stop for the included Torx bits. Good system that works well, although it would have been helpful to include two of the spacer/depth stops.These come packaged in a large plastic storage bin. It's convenient and a good way to move them about on a deck job, and with the cover on it can survive some light rain.

I want to redo my deck this spring to remove the pressure treated lumber deck boards and replace them with composite boards as I'm tired of staining and sealing the pressure treated boards. The composite boards are a bit pricey, but then toss in the cost of the fasteners at the big box stores and the project gets expensive quickly. These fastener are a good price for the number you get relative to what you'll pay at the big box stores and seem like just as good of quality.The nylon faster seems like it's really strong and well made. The screws are just over 1.5 inches long and extend an inch beyond the bottom of the fastener, so they are not super long, but should be about the equivalent of using a 2" screw through a pressure treated deck board, assuming they are the right height and sit flat against the joist. They say in the last photo that the screws are 304 stainless steel, so they should last a long time without rusting, but that's the only place the screw material is indicated.Assuming the stainless steel screws, this is a really nice set that should make my desk last a long time.

Ordered these: 1250 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking Board,Composite Deck Clips & Plastic Hidden Fastners with Metal Screws -- to use this spring. Tested them on some extra Trex boards and they do appear to fit and work nearly as well as the brand name clips. If you hit them hard with the drill and don't set the right tension value the screw heads can pop off, so get that tension right so they are tight but not over driven. Came in a nice plastic bin with extra drivers. Plenty for even a big deck, at a price much better than at the local box stores and do not appear to be any different. Most people seem to like these after market clips.

Weather has been "poor" so these haven't gotten a good workout yet but I have tried them out.These seem to work fine and they do fit the slot in Trex planks - and I need to re-install a lot of planks soon.The kit comes in a really decent little carry case and includes bit tips for the screws - its a nice kit.The case on mine was shattered by poor packaging but that's not the manufacturer's fault.These are significantly less expensive but look like they work just as well as the brand name ones.

I ordered these ‘1250 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking’ to use with the new deck I will be installing in the spring. The OEM fasteners are quite expensive, so I figured I would take a chance on these as these fasteners seemed to be available at a good price.I am very happy with both the quality and fit of these ‘1250 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking’. Looking at them and trying a couple of them out, they seem to be just as good as the OEM fasteners are. The quality of the plastic used in these fasteners seems comparable. And they do fit the groves in my T**x decking boards fine. There may be a tad more play in these fasteners since they are not brand specific. But it’s not a big deal.I tried these ‘1250 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking’ on a couple of pieces of scrap composite decking I had, and I was satisfied with how the fit the groves in the boards and held them in place. The included screw guide works great. And I do like that there are two bits included.The only difference I can see between these ‘1250 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking’ and the OEM ones is that the screws may be a bit thinner. I don’t foresee that being a problem however.In summary, these ‘1250 PCS Hidden Deck Fasteners for Composite Decking’ are a satisfactory replacement for the OEM composite fasteners. They secure the boards well..fit the groves well…and are easy to install. The bit guide and drill bits are a nice add on.
