Great value for this plunge router. Easily did the job I asked of it. Good power for the plastic speaker adapters I needed to make. Good accessories like the edge guide that was Easily converted to a circle guide. Easy to adjust and low vibration. Very functional.

This is a terrible Plunge router to setup. Not very good Directions! Çan't find 5/16" shanked router bits, why weren't the able to do 1/2" shanks it would have been simpler. I would purchase again!! Would rate it a half star but since there is no half stars i'll rate it NO stars. If I had know it was this bad I would have purchased.

I'm just a do-it-yourselfer and I needed a router to round over corners on some oak. This fits the bill and I'm very satisfied with a quality tool and accessories at such a minimal price. Excellent but, 5 stars.

Better than I expected. Lighter than my 20 year old traditional router, but heavy enough so cuts are smooth and it doesn’t jump around on you. Lots of adjustments and stops. Plunge is stiff, but manageable. Tried the bits and they worked fine. Thankful that it comes with collets in two other sizes as I had to use one of my existing bits. One point off for documentation. Almost useless. This product needs an accompanying video with explanatory dialogue.

For $54 (when I bought it) I got router bits, an edge guide the router and a base that can be used fixed or with the plunge feature. It was a bit larger than I was expecting but the quality was far better than I expected. The router runs quiet and very smooth. I used the edge guide and the plunge feature to create some pockets in the back of cabinet faces to attach to a refrigerator. The router worked falsely.I just have two items I wish were a bit different and this is really being picky1. The spring on the plunge are a bit tight so you do need a apply a bit of pressure downward. Unfortunately you can't adjust the spring tension.2. The knob to adjust the edge guide is the same knob as the lock for the plunge depth. After setting the depth and making several cuts, I unfortunately loosed the depth knob by mistake and had to reset it. I whish they used a different color or shape. I think I'll spray paint that knob so I won't make the mistake again. All in all, it's a great router with great accessories.

The igooo ER850 router’s plunge mechanism is stiff, and the included bits wear quickly.
