hose and quick connect are good quality. Orifices don't fit my older Weber Genesis E310 (circa 2009, side control model). I'm keeping the kit though and will find replacement orifices elsewhere.

everything I needed to run a gas line outside the house and feed my converted propane grill.

Used on the house propane supply pipe to my gas grill.to get rid of the bottles. It worked great. Easy to install, but the quick release only fit on the house side pipe so I can jump between units if I add another gas item on my patio.

So I just got a Weber Slate natural gas griddle. Been wanting one for years so finally bit the bullet. I already have a Napoleon natural gas grill on the deck. It was configured with a 1/2” quick connect fitting and a hose. The Weber came with a 3/8” fitting and hose. Now I want to have both of these grills hooked up at the same time. So, after looking long and hard, you cannot get a quick connect y adapter with a 1/2 inlet and a 1/2 and 3/8 outlets. I ended up going to Home Depot and scouring Amazon but nothing I could find would solve that 3/8 connection conundrum. Enter this hose set. With a 1/2 to dual 1/2 y adapter for my supply NG line and this hose (1/2” connection) I all was set. I removed the factory Weber hose and used the included 1/2 to 3/8 flare adapter with this 1/2 hose and now all is right in the world. The y adapter was $33 and this hose set was $35 I think. A great value for the things you get. Both grills can be maxed out with enough supply gas to keep them both humming along.

I picked up this natural gas hose as a replacement for a project I’m working on, but I couldn’t even get started because the half-inch female flare was defective. It wouldn’t connect with the half-inch male flare that came with the kit. As you can see in the photo I provided, the threads weren’t fully formed, so nothing would screw in properly. If you had a tap and die set, you might be able to fix it, but unfortunately, I don’t have one, so this was a disappointment. I had high hopes for this hose because the kit seemed to have everything you’d need, including wrenches and a handle to coil up the hose when not in use. It’s one of the most well-thought-out kits I’ve come across in a while, but sadly, it didn’t work out for me.Pros:- Includes all necessary components for setup- Comes with wrenches and a Velcro handle for easy storageCons:- Defective threads on the half-inch female flare made it unusable for my project

This connector kit is made to run a BBQ or grill or a natural gas generator that is already equipped for natural gas. That means your equipment must have the correct regulator and orifices designed to burn natural gas, NOT propane, if you are planning to convert over! That being said, it has everything you need for running gas from your home to your natural gas equipment at a price that is about 30% off from the kit you can buy at the big box or BBQ supply house stores. Well-made and should last a good long time.Remember to always, ALWAYS soap-check your fittings when connecting or quick-connecting your equipment to a natural gas source; it's embarrassing and potentially expensive/deadly if you leave a leak in the wrong place!!
