I guess they are calling those spacers bushings, which I guess technically they are, but they are just used as spacers to get the wheel centered on the axle. I usually have to make them out of a piece of steel tubing. These were good enough for a little minibike I made for the kids. It's not a 212 sized minibike, but one built for a Predator 79cc. It's a little guy for the little guys on the farm.I have no idea why an axle would cause any problems, but this one hasn't. It hasn't snapped or bent or anything ridiculous. Then again, this bike is usually tooling around the farm going all of 10mph with a 6 year old on it. It isn't wide enough for a bigger minibike, but it was perfect for this little one I built.
