Even carbide eventually wears out, but these do stay sharp for a long time before needing re-sharping and I haven't reached the point yet where they need to be disposed of so this assortment of cutters will last me a very long time.

I had ordered a different brand and returned it when 2 of the blades broke from just screwing on to the tool. This product is great. Steong and sharp. Have used on different types of wood and does the job.
