I purchased to replace same on outdoor furniture (arm chairs) that are aluminum tube construction. After merely 18 years, the original end caps had worn through.

Square plastic plugs, adequate for replacements in areas not subject to heavy abuse. These would not likely last on chair legs touching the floor, but are fine for my boats square tubing on the deck, doors and bimini. They are a bit on the thin side, but will work for now.
