Product comes with a cloth baggie to put the repellent ball in. DON'T DO THIS! all the baggie does, gives the rodent something to grab on to and drag it way. Still have a gopher hole, placed one in the hole and one three feet away on each side. The next day, one was still there, one was dragged 10 feet away and the other twenty+ feet away. Even placing one in the hole and filling in the hole, the gopher(s) drag the baggie away and re-open the hole.

I put a half a dozen of the balls under the porch and in the hole and now it seems they are bringing their friends over. I will not buy it again.

I have been using these for a couple months and it is the only thing keeping my roses alive. Last year I lost 10 rose bushes to voles eating the roots and I was so determined not to let that happen again. These got them to back off and protect the ones I have in the ground already and this year I plan to plant the next replacement roses I have with gopher baskets to help save them some more.

Had moles and squirrels in my flower bed. Put there around the area. Did nothing. Felt like they came more.

Wow.... I can't say if these things are working or not or if it is just a coincidence. We often have moles and then go a period of time without seeing any, so it could just be by chance. But boy are they repellant, as in, they stink something awful! I could smell them before I even brought the box in the house! So if that is how they work - I think they are doing the trick.
