Hook and loop discs i do use from time to time, but majority of these will be used for hand sanding. I use a lot of higher grit sandpaper, even up to 7000. What i don't have a lot of is the high grit with a soft back, so yeah these are perfect for that.These deserve 5 stars. My only reason for giving them 4 was that while the box showed 3000 grit, what was inside was 2500 grit. The 2500 won't go unused, so not that bad, but they definitely need to watch that
