Works well for quail waterers. Easy to set up. The design is great for attaching the waterer on the outside of the cage to give the birds more space. Would recommend.

The bone is offset toward the mounting plate where you screw it against the wall of the cage so that when you snug it up the bowl rubs the wall so what happens either it gets hung open and dumps water out or it gets done closed and your birds thirst to death this is just total crap shouldn't be allowed on Amazon and I never have said anything about the items I purchased on Amazon after hundreds and hundreds of items I have bought this is the first bad review I've ever written this crap Adam and the seller is on my blacklist would send it back but I got so aggravated with them I took a hammer and smashed them I wouldn't give 10 cents if he double the items and I don't like how Amazon forces you to give one star to submit your review it's not worth a star

The Quail love these water cups. They don't leak like the red ones.

The cups work as expected. The only problem is it is hard to keep them from leaking. They have to mounted completely level or they leak. So if they get bumped loose or unleveled by the quail they begin to leak again.

Did not receive t fittings but more like wye fittings. Cups have tendency to get stuck against side of cage.

We use these in our quail cages. No drips or leaks. The birds took to them with no problems, way better than the drink nipples we previously had.

Application: Quail cage waterer that is fed by a 5 gallon bucket. I house 15-20 quail in a 6 foot long cage and don't want to be constantly filling a waterer. So I put two water bowels per cage. Made it into 5 cagesPros:-great value for kit- easy to attach to the side of the cage- quails can easily use- no leaks from the mechanism so far (2mo in)Cons:-cheap plastic, but I don't think durability is an issueConclusion:Does what it supposed to do. No leaking . Saves me time since I"m only filling the 5 gallon bucket once every1-2 weeks. I may use this for my rabbit cages soon
