These are straight braces that will help mend linear pieces of wood together. You can use them on both sides of a repair to give the item the original strength of that wood member. When ordered, I thought that this would work for alternative uses like mending breaks in metal linear rails. However, they are as advertised, only good for mending wood members. They have stainless steel screws and completely encased brackets; making then suitable for outdoor uses; like mending wooden patio furniture.

This set comes with 12 brackets that are about 4" and 48 screws. Everything is white, including the screws, which is great! The plastic case that it comes with seems to be sturdy and keeps everything organized. Since getting it, I fixed a wobbly bookcase using 4 of the brackets. The white paint on the screws didn't strip. The box also includes a philips bit, which is a nice touch. I have so many uses for this around the house. Will be back for more. Highly recommended!

The Oufiin White Stainless Steel Straight Braces and Screws are a great combination of products for reinforcing furniture around the house.Pros:- Comes with both braces and matching screws with white colored screw heads that have helped reinforce some fraying / slightly breaking down MDF furniture I have around the house.- The white color is a pretty close match to the white color of most MDF furniture products, so it blends in decently enough for a repair job- After screwing in place, furniture appears to be quite sturdy without any significant giveCons:- Must be careful when screwing in the screws, as with too much force it will scratch off some of the white finish on the screws. While they are self tapping, I find that putting in a small pilot hole first makes them go in easier without causing any stripping of the finish

This kit comes with 12 mending plates and enough screws to attach them. The white color does not flake off. The screws have a matching white color on their head which is always appreciated for appearance. Comes with a phillips screw bit. I will say that these plates are relatively thin so they are going to be best for light-duty projects. Also, if you hold two of them together you can see that they have a bit of a bend to them. But, these will still work fine for shoring up things like cabinets and such where you want something to match the white color.

This is a nice set of metal braces, just as the ad implies. I'm going to be using them to tie some 2x4s together; not as the main support but as an additional support/tie. They are going to work great really for anything like that where you want to add strength or brace something. The quality is good and I haven't noticed any manufacturing flaws so happy to recommend.
