It's a simple way to transfer caught rainwater to garden areas or livestock tanks. Especially good for keeping soil under mulched areas wet, such as in Back To Eden Gardening methods. Being 12V makes it so portable, not having 120V power all over the property.Recommended

For a small unit it works great. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with any form of bracket to mount the pump to the boat. I had to 3D print one. But other than that it works like a charm. I have a custom 1977 Bonito Bowrider with twin 587 jet engines and this pump keeps up with everything that gets in. Super easy to install, durable and feels like it will last a long time. Very affordable.

This hose is only 3/4 of an inch OD and it is crushable. The interior of the hose is not smooth. This is not the type of hose you want for your bilge pump. The hose clamps are probably not 316 stainless steel and I would never use the provided through Hull fitting. Bought this as a backup emergency bilge pump, but the quality of the hose is so substandard, I don't know if I would have any confidence in it. Hose like Shields 141 hose is what you want to get.

This is a great setup for a bilge pump on a kayak or Jon boat, it is easy to install and comes with all the necessary stuff.
