I left it charging over a day and when I unplugged only the car lights were coming on .

I got this to charge my nephew's 12 volt ride on car, but it didn't work that great. The original charger that came with the car got chewed up by our pesky kitten. This new charger was much slower than the previous one. It got the job done, but took twice as long. I was able to use it to charge a different toy though, so I kept it.
