I used this to add an emergency shutoff switch for my whole house humidifier. I also wired it so that the light turns on when the furnace sends power to the humidifer, so that I know when the humifier is working. There is plenty of room for the wiring inside the box. The strain reliefs work well to keep the wires from pulling out. Overall, I think it is a very good quality switch.

I have low-voltage lights outside and this switch was just what I was looking for. I was trying to find a way to turn off the lights I installed around my outdoor fireplace from the rest of my lighting without having to turn off everything connected to the transformer. I spliced the switch in line on the low-voltage cable and it was a great way for me to have control over those lights now. The switch is great quality, I have it outside with no issues with the weather and it works great.

Bought this switch for one of the runs off our 12v outdoor lighting system. This particular light is shared with the front porch which is kinda redundant, but I feel excessive with Christmas lights or Halloween decorations. This install required me to make pigtails on one end, allowing me to install the box from one end as the wire was already secured on both ends. Switch is installed this particular direction to show if circuit is powered or not (or if bulb goes out, but power is delivered) as the switch can be always illuminated when not delivering power. Waterproof box / cable connectors kinda "lock" as you turn them, which was nice. Box is big enough to accommodate the switch and some cables or service wire (like an indoor swith box would contain.) I would strongly suggest this product if anyone is looking for a decent low voltage box that is highly water resistant and feels pretty well made.

I installed this yesterday. It works fine. There were no instructions but thankfully one of the pictures for the item here on Amazon showed power and load connections. Beware that it's designed for fork blade wire connections only.
