Made for clean install, came prewired. Only wish the wire colors would of been different colors or labeled to waht fuse.

4.5 stars. Very tight fit for relays. Need to use two screwdrivers to pry out installed relays. That's a good thing for low resistance. I replaced the stock relays with latching bi-stable relays to use in a marine LFP solar normally on (closed) BMS safety-shut-off installation. Wiring was not exactly what I needed but very easy to modify with no re-crimping required for my fused two-channel solar relay application. The only reason for 4.5 instead of 5 stars is the manufacturer used plain copper wire instead of tinned copper wire. I would buy this product again and I recommend it.

the bottom has no cover so it has to be mounted and caulked to protect the wiring from the elements. This is evident in the picture in retrospect but I only read the description as waterproof.

This is a well made pre-wired relay/fuse box. This one gives you 2 relays and a 6 fuse block in a compact casing that is small enough to mount almost anywhere needed. The product description claims it is waterproof however that is only from water falling from above since there is no sealed bottom to the casing. That is providing it is also mounted high enough in a location where water will also not be able to back up underneath it. If you need just a couple relays and/or just a few fuses for your wiring/power project this pre-wired box will definitely get the job done without taking up much space or time. Simply install with your own 2 screws and connect the ends of the wires either soldered, cap crimped, or install male/female spade connectors, heat shrink if preferred & done.
