I don't really like emptying my RV tank. This macerator makes quick work of the job, and works reliably, so I can get back to more enjoyable activities. The 12V operation is, of course, convenient for RV. Two power cables are included to plug up via 12V automotive socket or use alligator clips directly to a battery. I really appreciate the fresh water rinse, and ability to backflow the tanks.

Supper easy to use…the hardest part of the install was figuring out where to plug in the power. I needed this pump to empty my tanks while long term dry camping on BLM land. I can use this to pump my tanks up to my portable tank in my truck bed. It works well. It definitely turns all of my black tank waste into liquid. It can also be used to back flush your tanks. It’s not quiet, but that’s not to be expected.

During our last trip there was a guy going around the park offering tank cleaning services. We have three grey and two black tanks on our rig. It would've cost us hundreds of dollars for him to deep lean our tanks. For less than a hundred bucks I was able to clean out all waste in my tanks. If you've clean out a tank before this pump is pretty strait forward. I didn't have any leaks or messes. I would definitely recommend this over an expensive service.
