Had high hopes for 12x59'' Photochromic Headlight Tint Film Tail Light Tint TPU Self Healing Car Headlight Protection Film Taillight Tint Film.It SEEMS like this photochromic film should work - the science is there - anyone with light-adaptable lenses on their glasses knows this and has for what - 40+ years?Every few years this kind of product hits the market for auto tinting, but for some reason, doesn't seem to catch on. I wondered why. It seems like it should work.I wanted this to work. Have been chrome deleting my ride for months, just about have it where I want it, and would LOVE to have smoked headlights during the day and clear ones at night.However, just leaving the film outside pre-installation, that never happened in either direction. Never fully smoked, just cloudy, and never fully clear, just cloudy.Where the film is not exposed to UV rays, yes, there is a difference.You can kind of play "pretend x-ray" with it, because if you put your hand over it you'll make what looks like an x-ray of slightly chubby bones. That's kind of the gradient difference between exposed/not exposed.I wanted to see what it would do free-range before I installed it (since I'm just now getting fingernails and fingerprints back from weeks and weeks of vinyl wrapping and re-wrapping and cleaning with IPA in advance).It didn't change enough for me to feel super-confident that I'd have good lighting at night or tint during the day, so I just did a test-install with some strips across the non-beaming parts of the lens.It didn't fare any better installed than it did in the free-range trial, sadly.Sticky factor not that great, either, and I prepped like I was going to perform surgery on those lights. They were cleaner than they've ever been or will be again.I WISH this had come through - it's time for a product like this to come through! The science is there!This one didn't - at least not enough for me to be over the moon with it, which I really wanted to be.More than that, I wanted my ride to be fully customized like I'd imagined, without sacrificing visibility at night (just search your local past-tense reading forum for "tinted headlights" to see how well traditional tint works for people - not well).Giving it three stars because it goes about 3/5ths of the way dark and 3/5ths of the way light and sticks about 3/5ths as well as my branded vinyl I'm using for the chrome delete.All that said, I'm anxious to find a five-star product like this! Please keep developing it until we get a good working model and I'll happily shout about it from the rafters and happily roll around town in a seriously distinguished ride.This is not there yet, but holding out hope!

This film is a cool addition when personalizing your vehicle. The photosensitivity is great. Does not leave the tint dark when using the headlights at night, which I was a little afraid of. I certainly don't want to impair my ability to see when driving at night and I don't want to be pulled over by the police for it either. This film is durable and easy to apply. Stays put and is performing well after having been on for a couple of months and getting washed a few times too. You get a lot for the amount of money, so it is a good value. Shipped and delivered quickly without any issues in shipping. I highly recommend.

Not as advertise , the tint is a rosy red not black or gray. Not for non straight surface doesn’t stretch well.

So far I have had this tint for a couple of weeks. Fairly good material and easy to apply (I am not a professional and only wrapped a few things). I would do the wet install method as it takes abit to work out bubbles. I installed mine on a Camry as seen in pics. So far still lightens and darkens as it should. Night seems to have zero effects on light output. Might be a VERY slight hazing of the projector line. Not much if any. Brightness is there though. During the day (with sun out) it has a nice darker smoke look. I’m very happy. Great option and it adds a layer of protection from road debri.
