Very nice replacement springs

This spring assembly fit in place of the original spring assembly quickly and easily. Probably took me 20 seconds to fit it. It's perfect for small bench drills presses and seems to be the only option for small drills that is easily available. The seller shipped it quickly and safely. My only complaint - which is nothing to do with the product - is the price. I spent over $28 with shipping for this and I think its probably worth $5 to $8. Even though it did save me having to buy a new drill it's hard to see how its worth one quarter the price of a complete new drill. Still, it is convenient and will probably last as long as the original spring - 17 years. Maybe I'm just getting grumpy in my old age.

Fit my Delta 11-990 12 inch almost perfectly, just had to drill out the hole a little bigger.

I've two small drill presses that I use frequently and both of them ended up with busted quill springs. I was glad to be able to find suitable replacements, as I really didn't want to have to replace the drill presses. These were easily installed. Just remove the two nuts holding the spring assembly in place and then remove the old assembly. The old assembly has a backing plate that the replacement doesn't so I reused that plate with the new assembly. Then slide the assembly over the spindle. To preload the spring, I would rotate the assembly a 1/4 turn until the tab on the drill press housing fit into the next notch on the spring assembly. I would continue 1/4 turns until the quill would stay fully up. Then thread on one of the retaining nuts, but only slightly snug against the side of the spring assembly. Then thread on the 2nd nut and tighten the two together nuts together. These do rotate as you bring the quill down and then back up, so you don't want to tighten them down hard on the spring assembly. So far, these are working as expected.

This was a perfect replacement on my 5 year old Harbor Freight (Chicago Equipment) Bench Drill Press. I had to drill the center hole out a little bit with a hand drill. And after that it went right in place as I need it to. Compared to the original it looks like exactly the same thing.

Service was good, shipping quick. Part is slightly oversize for old Atlas drill press but can be made to fit.

This part has been broken for about a year. I had checked a number of places for a replacement. I am so glad I came across Accura Machines because they had what I needed to get the drill press working properly.

It was the exact replacement part. I ordered just based on the picture and description as the original part was no longer available.

This was great, it slipped right onto my drill press and worked perfectly! It literally took me 1 minute to fix my drill press.
