Compact, aluminum built, very good quality recorder. Touch screen function were many options are offered. I like the many recording option are offered. Good quality recordings. I like the fact that a sim card is included to store recording files.

I have recently discovered that I learn better with auditory learning. So, I use this device to record my reading for college and play it back to myself. Having the words written out from my speaking is very helpful. But, I am grateful for the ability to put sections of my recordings on repeat to be able to comprehend them better. If you are in college, I highly recommend this item. It’s a BIG help!

The voice recorder is great. It has very good sound quality and range. I used itduring a meeting. However, the transcript was useless. It transcribed a complete mess. It was not even close. I think the voice recorder feature and ease of use make it worth the purchase.

I've only used it 7 or 8 times so far but the recording quality is very good, even at a distance in council meetings when you choose the "lecture" setting. For one on one conversations in a crowded location I'd recommend an external mic, which it supports, but that's just common sense. Pocket mode is fantastic though, for me it recorded very well through two layers plus a coat. My only complaint so far, and it's really just me being picky, is the file tree system when you transfer files to your PC. It could be more streamlined, but overall it works well. Especially for the price. A few hundred more interviews will tell the story but so far I'm impressed.

I've used this mostly as a voice recorder, rather than for the speech to text facility which I don't think I'd rely on it for. It seems well-made and the sound quality is clear for a range of different sound types in different settings and it has a high 1TB memory capacity with a long battery life. It fits very easily into a bag or pocket for convenient use.It's fairly easy to use once you get used to it, although it took me a while to find my way around between the different settings, especially to get beyond the instruction messages. The manual is quite comprehensive - you could pick up how to use it either from the manual or intuitively by using the device, especially as there are so many 'on board' instructions (to be honest these can get in the way of using it initially, especially if you've read the instructions, but would be useful for those who struggle with instruction manuals). However I feel that I still don't confidently know my way around all the features despite having used it several times. I like that it has a colourful display, but need to admit that I find it easier & quicker to use a traditional style dictaphone with clearly labelled buttons; although it's a similar size and shape, this little machine is very different to use compared to the original type recording devices.In summary, the recording device gives clear sound has many handy features. It would be very useful for meetings, lectures and recording your own notes, although you'd want to make sure to read through and correct any misunderstandings from the voice to text feature before sharing them.

I got this for work, we communicate very critical information over radio and I wanted this as a 'black box' to cover my you know what in a 'he said, she said' situation. A friend had an older one from Walmart that didn't have a memory card but I liked the small size so I looked up the brand and found one but it wouldn't be delivered until March 8th...that's unacceptable, so I came to Amazon as I usually do anyway, and found this which is WAAAAAAY better for just a little more, and much quicker delivery (though it did come a day late). I love the touchscreen, it came with a 128gb memory card and charging cable, was completely dead on arrival but charged up quickly enough to turn it on and set it up. Full charge took about two hours.It has every function you can think of and some you didn't know you wanted or needed. The quality is great, both build quality as well as recording quality. I did buy the protective case that was recommended as a 'bundle' which is also really nice. You can use the screen only (except you need to use the physical record button or the side slide/power button to wake it up) for all functions, or you can use the physical buttons for 'old school' appeal and feel. Highly recommend. It's worth the price.

I have about 4 of these. I've been looking for one that is easier to use. I wish I could sell these on TicToc. It is everything. The touch screen is off the chain. The directions in the manual and on the screen are superb (and I'm old)! It is fully charged on arrival and ready to use. It was so easy to use.The BEST thing is that there is a removable micro memory card included.If I had one request it would be for a cute carrying case. But leave it as is to keep this price point.Please contact me about selling these for you! I am so hyped. I could sell a million!!

I have wanted a digital voice recorder with transcription capabilities for a long time, so I was intrigued when I came across this 40GB model by innioasis. I am a full-time grad student and often record lectures using my cell phone’s voice recording software. However, by the semester’s end, I rarely listen back as I do not have the time to sit through hours of playback. It’s a game changer to have a transcript produced for you, even if not consistently perfectly accurate. I have also used it to record doctor visits where important health information is discussed. The device has allowed me to be more present, as I am not scrambling to write everything down.While I still have more to learn in terms of maximizing settings, my experience with this device thus far has been positive.The device is smaller than I expected but still has a large screen with sufficiently large and clear text and icons. It fits comfortably in your hand, pocket or bag. The microphone is the colored piece at the top (mine is green). You can play back audio using the speaker on the bottom or connect headphones via bluetooth. It charges via USB-C, included. The micro-SD card used to store the data is also included and pre-inserted.When you receive the device, you will want to take some time to play around with the settings and learn its functions. I STRONGLY ADVISE doing this before recording anything important. If not, you risk recording or saving your file incorrectly and losing it entirely (or not as high quality as possible). There is an instruction pamphlet to advise you on settings. For example, there are modes for recording general audio, lectures (distance), meetings (multi-voice), and pocket (noise cancellation and high sensitivity mic). You can also pre-schedule a recording if you input the request.When recording, the screen (similar to a phone) shows you basic data like the current time, confirmation of activity (recording) and battery life. The transcription feature, the winning feature for me, begins automatically and appears on the screen in a rolling text box. Below the text, you'll see a “T-Mark” button that “marks” the recording at that time. This allows quick reference to something you know you’ll want to return to. The transcription has been pretty accurate with the odd blunder – this may vary with accents, talking speed, etc. Once you save a recording and/or text file, it can be transferred to a computer using the micro-SD card (you may need an adapter, depending on your computer).Overall, I am pleased with this small but mighty digital voice recorder from innioasis. I am not the most tech-savvy person, but I figured it out with some patience and practice. It’s been beneficial to me in a variety of ways, and I will continue to use it.
