Using for my 04 1200 sportster XL. Works great, can remove with your hands which is nice if you need to remove the seat and don’t have tools. As the stock screw is a Phillips head. Nice little detail for your motorcycle

I bought a 2 pack of these things because as we all know, Harley's can generate a little vibration, so there's a good chance one of these days you're gonna lose one of these seat retaining bolts. This is just a good value: they have a good knurl on them so they are easy to tighten, the knurled part is aluminum the bolt is chromed steel, it has a captured concave steel washer with a rubber friction washer and that combination is bound to do a good job of fighting vibration.

Th quality of the 2 bolts are very good. The only thing I didn't like was the head of the bolt was designed with a high profile which makes sense for easy removal. It was pushing up on the leather stock seat, it's a 2015 HD FLSTC. Since I only needed one bolt, I experimented with the other bolt by removing the stud from the head with an allen key & grinded down the space below the head of the bolt. I then ran a thread chaser, applied red lock tight to the threaded stud & re-installed back into the head of the bolt. Installed it in to the back fender. Now all is good. I can still remove bolt easily. i would buy it again if need be.

These look great and are exactly as described. My problem was my oddball 33 year old Harley ended up having a different thread. I was able to take the stud out of the knob and manufacture a stud that fit both the knob and my bike. It was my fault for not knowing what threads were on my bike and this item is nice and perfect for an installation on a bike with these threads so I won't fault the seller or product when it's exactly as described. Highly recommended if you want to be able to change seats fairly quickly without tools.
