I ordered this bundle to wire a 16ft trailer with lights and very satisfied with the quality material... a good strong plastic coating and good gauge wire not that cheap extra thin stuff.

This kit was the perfect thing for my 20 ft utility trailer build. I had enough wire to make it all the way to the far rear marker light, along with the one that stretches across the front to the far side as well, with a few feet of wire to spare. The rest of the wires were way more than I needed, and everything is color coded properly from front to back, so no confusion about which is which if I have to do any wiring work on this trailer again.One problem however was that about a week after I installed the wiring, one of the wires that I didn't hide in a wire loom were chewed by a rodent. I'm assuming this is because the wires have insulation that is made out of something attractive to them. Essentially they think it's food. So, if you're going to use these exposed to the underside of a trailer, you probably want to get some wire loom and tuck it in there to avoid any rodent damage. I knocked one star off for that, but otherwise, good quality stuff.

This is an incredible deal for the quantity of wires and the high quality! I purchased this for a project restoration that I am doing *(re-wiring a 68 Mustang). Some posters complain about the packaging materials and that the spools come undone, that's silly. You can make your own spools and frankly for this price point you would be hard pressed to find quality wires.The colors are OEM matched. For instance, go to any auto part store and buy their red or blue wires and then compare to whats in your car...Looks completely different, these are spot on!They're a true 14GA wire, which fits the bill for 99% of automotive wiring. I like it as for the applications that call for 18 GA, this isn't too big and you can still make it work.The insulation used on this is top notch! Seriously, ever buy cheap wire? It's as hard as a brick, making it difficult to twist and contort. This is soft, but very thick and durable! As most cars made in that era, there area lot of sharp areas that have mangled my hands while snaking wires, but these wires have stayed intact!!!Go for these, you won't be disappointed.
