Made from real copper tinned in aluminum and double sheathed. Finally stranded for good flexibility and easy to install. I ordered this for running new speaker wire in my car doors and the dash and made a very noticeable difference to the copper clad aluminum wire I replaced. This is an extremely good value for so much premium copper wire and I highly recommend it. Can be used on boats, attics, vehicles or anywhere you need good speaker or power wire.

Picked up this marine grade wiring for some various projects around my house and it works good for it! Have done many electrical work throughout the years and this 14 AWG wire works good for what I need it for and is a good value! Overall would recommend this for many different applications and is UL 1426 rated, and is heavy duty tinned copper! No complaints at all with this!

Upgraded my original 1985 Mustang SVO to a 390 LPH fuel pump. Used the 10 Ga. Wiring to supply power from battery. Great paired 10 Ga. Wiring, the outer covering is nice and heavy, easy to use.

For: “10 Gauge Marine Wire,20ft 10/2 AWG Duplex Maine Grade Wire Tinned Copper Boat Cable,Marine Electrical Wire for Boat/Marine/Automotive etc Outdoors Wiring (20 ft, 10 gauge)”I received this wire for Free as part of the Amazon Vine program, in exchange for my honest review.Likes:-----------The Price for 20 feet was like other company listings for this type of wiring.(and as usual the price drops per foot the longer length roll you buy)This will certainly meet my needs for outdoor large Riding Lawn Mower lights and for highway Trailer type wiring. My wire will be covered in my applications and will not be exposed to UV, Grease or Oil.I see the labeling on the cable that was delivered was spelled correctly:“NOVINO 10 AWG/2 DUPLEX MARINE WIRE”The shipped cable did NOT leave off the M in “Marine” (as was shown in the advertisement pictures).I took a single wire strand and bent it 180 degrees (up/down) 12 times before it broke at the insulation point.I bent another single strand 90 degrees (up/side) 25 times before it broke at the stripped insulation point.Seems pretty good. This wire sheath was easy to strip back by pulling with a pair of pliers, after a cut was made in the end of the sheath.I was able to easily strip this stranded wire using a “Klein Tools 11061” grabber type wire stripper. (It states “STRANDED:12-22AWG”, but worked well on this 10AWG stranded, with no wires cut, broken or dented.)(My other jaw cut-type strippers only went up to size 10AWG solid(12-stranded), Not 10AWG stranded.Per the listing:• Up to standard of UL 1426 ,SAE, ABYC etc ,our marine electrical copper boat cable with special PVC insulations can prevent Anti-corrosion, salt waterproof corrosion, extreme temperature fluctuation, heat-shock, resist abrasion, wire oxidationI tried to look up “UL 1426” specifications just to see what it showed, but I could not afford a copy. (they wanted $600.00 to download it.)I looked at other MARINE wiring like this. Some also stated “UV, Oil”, as well as salt and Marine on the cable wiring.I don’t know whether this cable does or doesn’t resist oil and UV? It was not a concern for my use though.I see that the Ad DID mention “solar applications”, which would imply UV?------------Other than the unknown regarding oil/UV resistance, (ask the company), I found nothing to dislike in this Marine grade cable.

I ordered this 50 ft spool of 10 gauge copper marine grade wire to use for wiring projects on our camper van and pedal kayaks.Gauge sizing looks right for 10 gauge wire and insulation is flexible, thick, and durable. I have complete confidence that this wiring can take some abuse and will be long lasting. Since the wire is 10 gauge, the safe max current rating is 30 amps which fit my applications well!On the camper van I want to run a high current circuit to use for powering a 12 volt compressor car refrigerator and a heated lunch box that we use for warming our food when we are on the road. The 12 volt Alpicool refrigerator draws around 60 watts and the heated lunch box draws around 100 watts, so if we are running them both at the same time this is 160 watts of draw which at 12 volts is 13.3 amps. The cigarette lighter in the van is rated for 10 amps which means I need to run a thicker gauge wire for higher current accessory pugs. This 10 gauge stranded marine grade wire is perfect for this application as it can safely support up to 30 amps!On the pedal kayaks I need to run an 8' wire from the battery box to the 12 volt accessory plug at the electric trolling motor mount. We are using 12 volt 36 pound thrust electric trolling motors from NewPort Vessels, which have a maximum draw of 29 amps. Since this stranded marine grade wire is 10 gauge and can handle 30 amps of current capacity, it is a perfect to use for wiring the kayak. The quality and durability of this 10 gauge marine grade wire is top of the line and it is easy to work with. I am very pleased with this wire product!

I measured the gauge quickly using my caliper, and it looks like this is indeed a 10-gauge wire. You can also see that it is tinned copper at the cut point. Tinted copper is great for outdoor environments because the tinning helps to prevent corrosion of the copper. The wiring is double insulated, which should also protect it. I use it for low-voltage outdoor wiring for lighting or as an outdoor speaker wire. The only negative thing I can report is that when I peeled the white outer insulation off, it did shed a powder-like material. See the photo. I assume it is just insulation material, but it is still strange to me. I haven’t encountered that with wiring before. It prompted me to wash my hands and clean my work surface! I’m deducting a star because of that issue.
