I can't stand a sloppy upper/lower fit. One box of this product tightened up 3 AR-15s. I only used the product on the front retaining pin so I could clean the gun without having to repeat the installation process. There is zero Play between any of the uppers and lowers anymore. Highly recommended and I wish I knew about it sooner.

I thought these were gimmicky but decided to give them a go before attempting different methods of tightening up receiver fitment. To my surprise, they worked really well. A little difficult to install but surprisingly good results for $10. Would recommend.

high quality, enough sizes to be useful, and they will tighten up your upper/lower pivot pin slop. They can be a bit of a pain to get installed. With a couple of these and an Accu-Wedge, your upper/lower will be as tight as if they were machined as one.

There is enough selection of shim sizes to play around with in terms of what I needed for my application.Example: I needed a 0.005" for the pivot and 0.004" for the take-down. So its one 0.002" and one 0.003" shims for the pivot and one 0.004" shim for the take-down.Highly recommended for those with uppers and lowers that are not greatly matched or worn out.

I wanted to shim my Rugger 556 front pin to reduce the slop/rattling, saw brownells charging ~$30 + shipping for some thin washers and knew someone was making them for less.wasn't expecting perfection from these but now my rifle is tight and silent.it was too difficult to try and capture 2 shims at once (ended up destroying 2 while trying) so I ended up putting 1 of the next size up on one side and it worked perfectly. if I ever wanted to try to do 1 on each side again they provide spares of each.100% happy with this product.

These shims were good quality and came in a variety of sizes. They are very thin and take some time to install. Use some silicon grease with pivot pin slightly pushed in and the flat end of a 1/4” drill bit in the hole on the other side without pivot pin to hold them in place as you slide receiver in place. .003 on each side worked great.
