Good package of snow shoes, poles and carrying case. Have cross country and downhill skiing in the past and have wanted to start snowshoeing. Recommended to have a head lamp, I purchased gaiters for Snowshoeing the next season.

Although I love these snowshoes, I am very disappointed with the poles.I lost one of the tips soon after setting out on my initial trek.No matter how I tighten them they always comes loose and collapse en route.Frustrating.

Picked this set up for 20$ so I could hit a last minute trip to Wheeler Peak. I wasn’t too optimistic but I was pleasantly surprised! These Snowshoes held up to 7 hours of hard abuse and didn’t back down a bit. I weigh 220 and had roughly 50lbs on my back. I took many tumbles and sunk many times up to my thighs in super soft snow but the shoes stayed locked in place the entire time. Highly recommend these! Idk about the poles though as I had some already.
