I needed these thumb screws to replace the ones in my motor home engine cover. They fit great and actually are better than the factory ones.

These are really just bolts and black plastic handles that fit onto the head of the bolt. If I try to really tighten them down the handle will separate from the bolt. I wanted to use these to secure a sliding guide on a router jig but I couldn’t get them tight enough to prevent the pieces from sliding. I wouldn’t buy these again.

I waited what seemed like forever for this replacement thumb screw to arrive even though I paid for shipping to have it sooner. The thumb screw is pretty sturdy. Too bad I ordered a size smaller than I needed for my office chair. I’ll try again
