I've only had need for two of these hex bolts so far. Nonetheless, the threads are clean, bolts went on smoothly, & no issue with the head snapping when torquing them down. Hopefully, you'll have the same luck.

I needed to fasten some black corner pieces to a wooden workbench and I wanted the bolts to be black as well. My options were to paint the bolts myself or obtain black bolts, so these were a natural choice! A few specific thoughts:- All 25 bolts were included and there were no defects to be found in any of them.- The black finish looks great and does not come off without some significant abuse. I made a mistake and scraped some of the paint off of the corner pieces while tightening the bolts, but that was user error, not the fault of the bolts.- The dimensions are exactly as advertised on the product page.Overall, these are great bolts and I recommend them!

I ordered the 1/4" x 3/4" hex head screws. I have no idea what the hardness. They are blackened Stainless Steel marked 304. The thread tolerance seems fine. The head height is a low profile. Lower than some other UNC hex head screws. For light use they are fine.
