These are shiny, sparkling earmuffs! I really, really, really wanted to love these ear cuffs! But they would not fit. No matter where I placed them on the ear, they would not stay on. And I was unable to get them placed onto the inside of the ear the way that the listing illustrated in the photos. They didn't seem to be large enough for that. I think my ears are a fairly normal size for a female.There is some misrepresentation regarding the materials used for the ear cuffs in the listing. The descriptions says, "The whole hoop cuff earrings are made of 925 sterling silver 14K Gold Plated long lasting finish." However, if you scroll on down the page where there are photos and additional information, you will find it shows that they are made of "high quality brass". I will attach a screen grab of that section and post it here so you can see what I mean. I think it is important to make it abundantly clear that these are brass because these may cause a reaction on sensitive individuals. Brass is a metal alloy and contains copper and zinc, as well as trace amounts of nickel. For individuals with metal sensitivity, it is possible that they may have a reaction.It also says they are adjustable and I found no way to adjust them. Brass is a very hard metal and, true to it's nature, you cannot pull them further apart or squeeze these ear cuffs to make the opening smaller so that they stay on your ear. The only thing I can figure out is perhaps what they meant by that is that they were "adjustable" in so much as you could wear them at different spots on the ear.So now I will explain the 3-star rating I am giving these ear cuffs. It may not matter to you and the price is low enough that unless you are allergic to brass metal or you have the same problem that I did with the cuffs not staying on the ear, this might not matter to you. I always begin with the assumption that a product I am reviewing is going to be 5-stars. With these cuffs, I am deducting two stars for misrepresentation of the metal composition of the ear cuffs, as I find this to be an important factor when considering a purchase.

Copper with gold plate, you won't be able to wear this 24/7. Gold platting usually lasts 2 years but less if you wear everyday. I have sensitive ears so I usually only wear titanium, silver or gold. But great for the price, I have tiny ears and these barely fit so measure before you buy.

These are not pliable at all. You can’t open them to get them around your ear so I returned.
