The included cap screws are way too long - at least for my Edlebrock manifold which had blind holes for the thermostat housing screws. The screws bottomed out before providing any clamping force on the housing. By trial and error, I had to grind off more than 1/4" from each screw to get it to clamp properly. Once I did that, everything is fine and I like the end result, but check your manifold before buying and if the holes are blind (most are so they don't leak antifreeze) be prepared to do some grinding on those bolts.

The design is cool in the fact you can angle it how you want.Theres flaws in the design, the bolts either need a thick washer or bolts need to be a little shorter. I tightened all the way down into a holley intake and it was really loose. It has a built in Oring gasket but i had to add a thick reusable gasket to make it tighten up.

Ordered this product for a project that I'm working on, new pulley system required the coolant hoses to be routed in a different direction. I received this and soon as I opened it I was thrilled. The milling is very nice and it is definitely a very nice polished finished. I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it

For anyone who has messed with sbc t stat housings you know what a pain they are. This housing fits and seals great and having the ability to set the angle exactly as you need it, is the best thing ever. This is the second classic I've used this housing on. The first one is beyond the 1 year mark with zero sealing issues. The look and finish are very nice. An easy 5 star product but 4 stars keeps them honest and striving to do even better.
