When you match the colors to the side of the bottle (as you would with standard strips), these work just fine. However, I purchased these with the hope that the app would tell me what chemicals need to be added. Unfortunately, the app is inconsistent and inaccurate most of the time. Don't buy these hoping for accuracy.... the app is glitchy and doesn't read the colors appropriately.

I have a iPhone 13pro and have to take the picture several times due to getting an error from the app.

These strips don’t work. This is a screenshot of the app reading the strip, as well as a picture of the strip itself next to the colors on The bottle. No matter what I do the alkalinity always reads none (and yet the pH is up to eight). When I use the app, it tells me I have no bromine despite the fact that my bromine is currently at 40 ppm according to my pool store! The strip itself is reading a very high concentration, but the app says zero. Garbage.

The test strip worked right away. The app is a little off once it reads the strip. I took the picture with different lighting and sometime it read better than others.

My free chlorine does not register and total chlorine is off the charts. On my HTH strips my free chlorine is off the charts and OTO chlorine test is off the charts so in comparing multiple results, each test ran 3 times for comparison, this drip strip didn’t even register a free chlorine reading. Please note the HTH and OTO drip do not include the total chlorine.
