I have the release PS4 controllers, and the battery works. But, the double connectors are helpful for not knowing which you have, but it gets in the way when closing the controller shell. It fits for sure, just a little more difficult. Works well and holds a charge.

The PS4 controller is very well designed, especially the revised version with lightbar window on the touchpad. If you have drift issues or buttons being stuck, taking it apart and giving it a good cleaning should fix most issues.Replacing the battery is super easy and takes about 10 mins if you're slow. This battery has 2 connectors and is designed for any of the DualShock 4 versions. It is stated to be 1500 mAh, bigger than the 1000 mAh capacity of the OEM battery. Whether this reflects real use conditions, I don't know. I'll update this review with hours of play between charges when I have a chance.It comes with a little screwdriver and that's all you need. You can use your fingers to open the shellStart with the horn grips by pulling the top and bottom half apart.
