Great inverter. I bought this to power my sump pump during power outages. It's connected to a deep cycle marine AGM battery which lasted over 7 hrs during a simulated power outage test. Pump draws 685 watts at start up, battery voltage only dropped 1 volt over 7 hrs. I expect I could likely achieve 8 to 10 hrs before the battery died if I had conducted a longer test. Inverter maintains 13.7 volts on charge. 40 amp fuse is internal so you'll have to open up the unit to replace the fuse if the need comes. Well built, easy to read LCD, beeper signaling low voltage. Will likely buy another for the other sump pump.

But d'avoir un back up sécuritaire pour la pompe de puisard. Excepté un tout petit manuel pour la connection électrique, il n'y a aucunes autres instructions, aucun manuel d'utilisation n'est fourni. Il y a des fusibles 40 qui sont dans l'emballage, mais aucune idée où ils peuvent être placés sur cet appareil.

You’ll need to get a battery and this inverter will keep it charged & switch over on power loss.

Hi my cellar floods ..Bought this to pump water out if loose power.. Haven't had to use it yet but tested it and works..They say you can use it for RV's too..

Installed this to power back up 2 sump pumps connected in tandem. Great unit with power monitoring and charging window. Came compute with cables and hook-up instructions . This will easily power two 1/3 hp sump pumps, with each drawing about 500 watts when on. So far so good..I disconnected the power to the unit to simulate an outage and manually triggered the sump pump. Works like a charm. Note you will need deep cycle batteries to use this..a regular car battery wont do.

Took a mere 30 minutes to install and that is because I am slow when dealing with electricity. Digital screen is bright and clear. Conducted test and it kicked in right away. So far so good.
