Other than the fact that there is a dark spot on each of the compression socks, they are as advertised. I purchased the Large. They are difficult to pull up onto each leg, but that is usually the way compression socks work, otherwise they would not compress one's leg. The dark spot on each sock appears to have been made by a black or gray marker and is about 1/2 inch long, 1/8 inch wide. It is not visible if I turn each sock inside out. I will try wearing one sock when the temperature gets warmer tomorrow, to see if they do indeed "breathe", as per advertised.

These Abismat 15-20 mm footless compression socks don’t come with any information or anything to suggest these are medical grade. These are opaque in black and feel fairly strong and thick. They have a synthetic feel and aesthetic but how they look doesn’t matter to me as they don’t show when worn with pants. I wanted to try the footless design as I mostly wear sandals and my legs can get somewhat achy from sitting too long, especially during travel. I didn’t get these to address swollen feet or ankles or an issue related to an underlying condition and would check with my health care provider to see if the footless design would be appropriate if I had an underlying condition. These are generic and feel like they provide mild to moderate compression. The size chart on the product page seems relatively accurate, but I’d consider sizing up especially if borderline. Size L gives me a smooth fit that doesn’t bunch up, sag or slide down. My 8-1/4” ankle size and 13-1/4” calf size put me within size M on the chart. But my calf size also makes me borderline between size M and L, plus I’m tall at almost 5’11”. So I decided to go with size L, which seem tight enough and can start to feel tight at the ankle bands after awhile. I’ve worn more comfortable, higher quality compression socks, though these are the first I’ve tried in a footless design. These are just okay for me. 3 stars. Made in China.

I’m glad o got these in an XL based on the sizing I would typically be a small and size up to a medium but these are XL and I was having a very difficult time getting them over and off my ankles without assistance it would almost be better if they made these as socks to get them to pull on and off better by oneself than trying to fit them on being as they come footless which is what I liked about them initially. Aside from them being difficult to put in they’re made of a nice material once you’re able to put them on and help promote better blood flow to your legs. I like that they are nude and can be worn under pants to cover them up or wire to be revealed with shorts when relaxing at home.

These compression socks fit perfectly and are of high quality! I got a pair of size medium after measuring my legs as per the size chart. I'm a very petite person (5' 3'' 115 lbs) so I get size medium and it fits just right. They are very comfortable to wear. The color is barely noticeable against my skin. Very happy overall with these and they are exactly what I want and need.
