I recommend a sawzall or angel grinder for top pin!

I've done a lot of hinge pins in my life. Pretty common nowadays on just about everything. My truck has had one side done, but like usual the spring is always the catch 22. Never know how it's going to go in or if at all. Add to that, you never know what parts are worn or not. It's why I typically recommend getting a complete kit like this one. Sure you may not need to replace every single little piece in the kit, but it's better to have everything you might need on hand instead of having a door halfway off running around town looking for an obscure part.4/5 stars primarily because this isn't really any better quality than your generic DOR brands or w/e

theres a special tool for driving out the old pins and bushings, some just use what they have laying around to do it. other than that, this is everything you need to rebuild your hinges, including the springs and spring tool. all nice, clean, good finish parts. wish this kit existed the last time i did this job...

This kit worked well overall but you have to grind down the splines on the roller pin, once you do that it’ll go right in
