We have several 4 wheelers and one lawn mower that we try to keep on trickle charge when not using. But it's hard to have 6+ trickle chargers going at the same time. So while I don't have enough to keep everything charging. This is a nice addition to my arsenal. It's easy to use, so far seems to work as expected. The true test will be if the battery stays charged during the colder months. But the price is comparable and so far works great. If something changes, I'll update accordingly.

I put this on a spare AGM motorcycle battery that I have and it charged it up and has maintained the charge for the month or so that I have had it hooked up on my bench. If I could suggest a couple of minor changes to the manufacturer - include the quick disconnect cables so you can plug it in to the battery you are charging (I'm going to add my own, as I have a bunch of spares), and while the display is very nice, maybe you could include a little more information on it - such as the voltage the battery is presently at and the voltage being supplied, perhaps even the current? And one more row of LEDs so you can spell FULL, rather than FUL. Thank you.

Jumps a completely dead battery. Very impressive.

So I bought this for charging my little 5,6 and 7 ah batteries as well as my motorcycle and tractor battery. Those little batteries are sealed lead acid and I also have newer Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. Imagine my shock when I went to open the end of the box to take the charger out and the printing reads "Charging Lithium batteries is strictly prohibited!" Duh! How could I have missed that?Other chargers work on all battery types and automatically test and adjust before charging. That's OK. This charger removes sulfur from lead acid plates while a battery is hooked up to it. That's good for using this as a trickle charger for topping up your lead acid batteries. The price is good and it works and does the job. Just read what it made for well.

I own a lot of batteries for mowers, four-wheelers, and things like that. I maintain them with a float charge and trickle charge all winter, which ensures that the batteries are always ready to go when summer comes around. It also helps extend the battery life.I bought this charger because it claims to have a “Maintenance Trickle Charger Float and Desulfurizer” function, but the box, manual, or charger itself doesn’t mention that. I won’t be able to say whether it works as advertised until I use it for a season or two. So far, I can say that it’s a small, lightweight charger with a good-looking display that shows amps, volts, and the percentage charged. If it works as well as it looks and advertised, then I’ll definitely recommend it.

While advertised as a charger for motorcycle batteries, on-line information indicates that this can be used for other batteries as well (not lithium though). It is a trickle charger so it should be used for slow charge or to maintain a charge. I needed this for my lawnmower battery. After connected for over 24 hours, there was no change in the battery charge or status. I then tried on a second lawnmower battery. Same result. Did not work for me. Waste of time and effort.

For the price it’s a pretty good deal. The cons are that the cord to plug it into the house is only about 3ft. This made me have to pull out an extension cord to reach my lawn mower’s battery. The clamp end are a little on the small size but did fit over my riding lawn mowers battery terminals. The clamp ends are also on the thin side, but that is to be expected at this price range. The pros are, the nice digital display that cycles through the current batteries voltage, the charging current, and displays when the battery reaches a full charge. It’s also compact so it’s easy to stash away when not in use.
