My Kohler 7000 / ZT1 54" wouldn't start without starter fluid after 4 years, I tried running carb cleaner through it but it didn't help. I figured it was a gummed up carb, but in the time it takes to take it apart and clean it, I had this knockoff installed and guess what? It actually works.I also replaced the fuel filter which might have been contributing - there are no arrows on this replacement, so it was somewhat guessing and comparing it to my old one to see which way should work, and it seems to work so far.I did add the shut-off valve as well, haven't replaced the plugs or the oil filter but looking at the size it seems to be a perfect match, I'll do that closer to summer probably.Getting all these parts for

Missing factory plug of the top of carburetor. Ran for ten minutes, plug came out/off and vacuum leak.
