14 bucks for 1 set of 4 pieces at Auto Zone. 14 bucks for 4 sets on Amazon! Worked great. Now I have backup for my other doors.

The driver side rear door latch on my 2002 F150 Supercab would not release. Inspection showed that the plastic cable end that's supposed to hold the end of the outer cable sheath and prevent it from moving had failed. Apparently, this is a common enough problem for 3rd parties to make and sell these repair parts. I read other reviews and saw complaints about these parts being "too tight" and binding the inner cable so that it couldn't operate. Knowing that, before I installed these I drilled the centers of the parts a little larger so they wouldn't/couldn't bind. They solved my problem and everything is working now. The most difficult part of the installation is working in the limited space inside the door to install them, but that's Ford's fault - not this vendor's.

I bought these in an attempt to fix the suicide doors on my 2000 F-150 Kingcab. In simplest terms: they worked perfectly. What you get: some machined ferrules with a slot. 3 are for the cable ends accessible from the main door opening, 1 has an oblong end that is used specifically for the upper latch. If you don't know how to take the door trim off, resort to YouTube- numerous videos online.A few pointers:1: replace all the ends once you open up the panels2: remove the top panel first. It just pops off, but be sure to be gentle around the pop-out windows- 2 screws per side3: remove the 2 screw and the 11mm nut holding the lower trim panel on; lift UPWARD and ease it off4: remove the speaker if you have one. Mine had 6mm capscrews5: take a picture of the layout of the assembly. Just do it.6: squeeze the tiny "ears" on the plastic retainers holding the threaded part of the cable ends so it is free7: pop up the retainer by popping loose the little yellow tab. these aren't as fragile as they appear8: use a knife, sandpaper, or a millcut file (what I used) to smooth out the cable's sleeve. these are textured and will need some cleaning up to remove the ridges to...9: slide the machine aluminum replacement ferrules on. The long skinny section faces AWAY from the cable end. It might be touch... if it is, some silicone grease (diver's grease) or some dielectric grease makes it slide over the cable sleeve easier10: slip the retainer back on and re-attach to the door.Be sure you test BEFORE reinstalling panels. Mine required some adjustments; this ids done by taking up slack at the retainer- note the cable ends are threaded. Don't use a tiny wrench and adjust- just pop the retainer off, move it a couple threads closer to the end to pick up the slack, then tighten. Test by engaging the clasps- much easier to adjust and test with the door opened up and ajar.Once you made sure everything is fine, reassemble and you should be good to go- and saved yourself a pile of ducats!

I ordered this product after both my rear doors on my 2005 F150 supercab failed to open. So I did some research to find out that these on the original parts are plastic and they deteriorate over time rendering the doors useless. These definitely fix the issue. There is a small amount of calibration to it but easy enough to figure out with a couple videos on YouTube. I'm not had any issues with the doors since. The nice thing is he's our Billet aluminum not plastic that's going to deteriorate over time. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for an easy fix instead of paying exorbitant dealer prices that I heard of.

They work ok, but they are tight and the cable touches, you have tobspend a ton of time spreading them to not touch the cables. Otherwise great.

Review: Save me money definitely ,Love it!!! FIt well with my F-150.Just as described. Instruction is helpful. These little replacement parts fit well with the slot and work great just like the original one. No need to buy new latches. Save me hundreds of $$$$. It is not difficult to install at all for it’s simple construction which is out of my expectation. And Mookis is a great seller with excellent customer service. Five star for such good product with cheaper price than most other sellers and friendly customer service. I would like to recommend them to all. A GREAT BUY I NEVER HAVE ACTUALLY.

Just ordered these for my car. Definetely saved me much cash! Easy to install and fit well. My driver side suicide door wasn't opening properly for a flaw in the design of the cable ends (Maybe a lot of us on here have had issues with the door cables on our F150s).And I was surprised to find that the small plastic cable ends (ferrules) that hold the cables in the latches on both ends disintegrated and turned to dust. Some additional tools mentioned on instruction (instruction is detailed) needed for this procedure. But overall, a nice experience. Highly recommended.
