Eastman's Speed-Flex 1/2" FIP x 1/2" FIP x 16" Water Supply Line is the standard in water supply lines. Its quality is determined by what you can't see. Misleading description of faucet line that states it has brass barbs. That is not true because these have plastic barbs. This is a major quality issue because it is a weak part that can break and cause total failure of the connector. Older lines may have had brass barbs like the description states but these certainly do not. I will be returning.

Thread perfect, white color more attractiv than stainless (which can indeed slightly discolor/ slight surface rust as Chinese SS is cheaply produced. This rubber like coating prevents all that.

The fittings are shorter in depth than the ones I removed from years ago, was a PITA to force them on and required a trip to ACE Hardware to make something that worked.

My water heater had failed and it was in a hard to access area. These hoses made connecting the new water heater super easy, and sealed with no extra effort. From now on, these will be my "go-to" for connecting water heaters. Good product.
