The connection is tightly locked as long as the lock switch is NOT touched, which greatly reduces the possibility of wire harness breakage, at the same time they are convenient to install.

Easy to Install

Step 1: First of all, disconnect your bike's battery and DO NOT cut or solder the CAN-Bus wire.

Step 2: Find the small black 4-position male and female connectors under the front of the fuel tank, then disconnect them.

Step 3: Attach the male connector to the main wire harness and attach the female connector to the handlebar switches.

Step 4: Reconnect our extension wire, please make sure that the connectors are seated properly and CAN NOT be pulled apart without releasing the lock.

Step 5: Reconnect the battery and make sure all switch functions work normally and done.

I used this on a Harley Davidson Sportster. I needed to increase the wires of the front indicator and the hand control (lights, horn, start button, kill switch) in order to accommodate 12 inch apes.This product was a breeze to use: the female ends of the product plug into the male ends of the original wires coming from the handlebars thereby extending them by 10 inches. And the male ends of the product are exactly like the original wires and they plug into the female ends of the electrical harness coming from the battery. All good.

Installing ape's on a street glide and theses were perfect extensions. Click right into the wiring harness and everything worked. Material and connections great quality with the nice weather seal on the connection. Good product fast delivery and great price.
