It's seems to be horse crap. Didn't work with the recommanded software (I am computer engineer... I think I know "how to". Tried 3 other software (OTG view, nEXT camera and a third one), same result. My phone is OK, brand new, USB OK.I lost 20 bucks...

The product was delivered in a well designed box which was pilfer-proof. The Endoscope has a USB-C connector to connect to my mobile device. That is so convenient, as I do not need to use a different charging cable for it. (I noticed that it had USB-2 and an Apple Lightning connector – but I did not use either of them.)I downloaded its app on my Android Phone and installed it with no problems whatsoever. It only asked for permission to access the storage - needed for photographs. Nothing else.I used the endoscope to view the exhaust of our Dryer and the long length and the stiffness of the cable of the endoscope was a great plus – I could comfortably locate the accumulation of lint. The image that is visible from the camera is very clear on my phone. The brightness of the LED is adjustable – which allowed for getting the exact extent of illumination that I needed.Since the endoscope connects to my phone, it is a simple matter to take a screenshot of what is viewed. . I can see myriad other uses for this endoscope around the house. If an endoscope is needed for professional purposes, it might not be sufficient but around the house, and at the price, it is an excellent product.

No manual included; delivered in plastic baggy. The unit requires software to be downloaded. Reviews of the software say that it requests unnecessary privileges' that would give it access to private information on the phone.Possible trojan-horse software; not worth the risk.

One thing to be aware of is that this device requires that your phone supports OTG (usually found somewhere associated with USB settings) search in your phone's settings to find it. The scope works beautifully and even allow me to save images like a regular camera! Plenty stiff to move around and still stay where I want it to be. Comes with an assortment of accessories for retrieval of objects and the like.

Man, just too much fun can be had with this thing... not to mention straight up MISCHIEF! Also a super useful inspection tool for hard to see or impossible to access areas. Can also be used to look under doors, around corners, down holes, into cracks and fissures, even UNDER WATER - the uses are countless. Lots of fun just looking into obscure areas. And... top it all off, you can get PHOTO or VIDEO EVIDENCE of your nightmare discoveries! It's over SIXTEEN FEET long and has LIGHTING, too! Oh yeah, that's a dead possum wedged down there... Yep, that's my pocket knife I lost behind the washer back in '96... MOM, I JUST FOUND THAT MEATBALL THAT "IMPOSSIBLY VANISHED" LAST THURSDAY... Hey, is that a LEG in that sewer grate?? A lot of fun to be had here. NICE!!

Great price. Clear picture. Eazzy Peazzy to set up. Just ug it into your phone. My older one needs to go to Blue tooth and Wifi to set it up and work.I also like the accessory kit that comes with it. I needed to hook a string and that was easy to see and grab with the accessory kit.

UPDATE: the seller was pretty quick to respond and sent me a replacement, I didn't update the review until after some time and usage before giving another review. It works fine but I still have to unplug and replig every so often.I struggled getting it working on my phone and finally it worked, then when I had to use it for an issue it stopped working, even after trying different phones none, not one detected the camera. Disappointed.
