This was a major upgrade for my original Canon Digital Rebel! Yes it's an old camera, but it's still perfect for learning to shoot with a DSLR. Unfortunately the cards I had were quite small and always filling up when shooting raw, this new 16gb card solved that problem 100%! No compatibility issues with the older camera as far as I can tell, definitely recommended!

Got this card for my 5D MKII, and was a little disappointed. Technically it does what it says. It does in fact have 16gb, and can transfer data. Beyond that, it does not perform good. I got about 20mb/s on a good day. Most of the time it is not good enough for recording at 1080p with my 5dMKII.A little sad, 2/5. Get something better

I ran this though several disk tests and it capped out around 12MB/sec for sequential writes and 70KB/sec for small file random writes. For read speed, I saw a max of around 26MB/sec. Not amazing speed, but perfectly fine for my use.More importantly, I tested the actual capacity and found it to be more or less accurate. Windows reports it as 14.9GB, a little less than the 16GB on the sticker, but close enough. In other words, it is a real drive, even if the max data transfer speed is hyperbole.I plan to use it with an IDE adapter to replace mechanical hard drives in older computers that I like playing with.

CF cards are not common any more, so I was glad to find a replacement for my largest one when it failed. This plugged in and read immediately. It can hold almost 4,000 photos on my Olympus E-410 camera. I don't use it a lot, but it does take very good photos.

It's not brand-name but works fine. I put it into my Canon EOS 50D, formatted it, and it works fine. I took some photos and reviewed them... no problems. By getting this it is a savings over brand-name versions. Let's just hope it lasts without any failures.

This probably means that it hasn't been manufactured under the standards and contract of the CompactFlash standards, but probably works ok.Rated at 60MB/sJust to be safe I reformatted the entire unit. The first time I tried using my laptop with Win11 at Fat32 for 32 gigabytes per allocation unit, which failed for some reason, but then tried it again at 26 gigabytes per unit and it worked. My sense is that this is really good for either taking still photos at any resolution, or I just use it for daily data backup of my work because my laptop has been a little sketchy lately. I just use a card reader, such as the one below, and it works much faster than any flash drive or USB memory stick. I'm so happy the CompactFlash memory storage era has arrived.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBQB76X9orhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBYTVFNRFor it to go a full 4K video recording, check your cameras which might require a little faster write rate -- see below.133x = 20MB/s200x = 30MB/s266x = 40MB/s300x = 45MB/s333x = 50MB/s400x = 60MB/s Write speed between 35 to 60 MB/s (this unit)600x = 90MB/s666x = 100MB/s Some 4K video cameras require about this speed700x=137MB/s800x=120MB/s900x=135MB/s1000x=150MB/s1066x=160MB/s
