this chainsaw works really well ........ no oil leaking ....... GREAT RPM blade speed ....... with the high capacity batteries this unit can cut for long periods of time ..... this chainsaw has exceeded my expectations

Very powerfull and excelent chainsaw. Very light. I used it to cut down a few small pine trees in the back yard with no effort at all. Being that it is so compact and light it is also good to trim my fruit trees. Another positive is the fact that it uses my current dewalt batteries which I'm able to interchange with most of my cordless power tools. I do not want to add another type of battery to my collection. I love the auto-tensioning and auto-lubrication features—adjusting the chain is tool-free and hassle-free, and maintenance is a breeze.

Excellent saw! Power is similar to a smaller gas saw. I cut some larger logs like 20" and this saw didn't skip a beat. It's not the go to saw for large logs but it did it. That's more than I can say for my 12" electric dewalt saw which over heats and shuts down on a anything over 6" or so. I even ripped a short one down the middle that was 14"across by 6ft long without a hiccup.I cut for about 4 hours straight on 2 of my waitley 9 amp hr batteries. This saw didn't disappoint.Tensioner- I read people struggled with this tensioner. I think it takes some understanding of how an electric saw is made to lick this with no issues. Your bar seat and screw will stop correct tension setting. So you loosen your bar seat screw tension your chain then set your bar screw again and it'll stay put. This isn't always necessary with gas saws. Anyway no issues just keep adjusting as needed to loosen up the chain as it heats up.Value- extremely inexpensive for the quality of saw. Some of the small plastic parts are thinner than I'd choose myself but it's durable enough and the frame itself is high quality. For the money it's hard to criticize when it didn't break under heavy workloads.Oil- I just bought the store brand at the hardware store by my house. It doesn't use oil in excess. I went through one little bottle full and there was about an 1/8" left in the reservoir.I won't hesitate to buy this again. If you need an electric saw or just want something you can use those large pair of dewalt or waitley 20v max batteries, pick this up. You'll enjoy using it

I have a lot of chainsaws, and cut a lot of wood. Most of my saws are 2 cycle Stihl saws from 250s to 660's. These saws perform well, but they are loud and heavy. I have had a few battery powered saws to accomplish small jobs with around my property. I have tried Kobalt, Husqvarna, and DEWALT. After putting this ReliaRoads 16-Inch Brushless Chainsaw, 40V (2 x 20V MAX) Cordless Battery Powered Chain Saw to the test, It has both exceeded my expectations, and outperformed all of the other battery brands I have owned. The side battery mount design makes for effortless and speedy battery changes when needed, but in my experience, you wont have to change batteries very often. I achieved 75 minutes of constant run time on 2 8Ah DEWALT batteries cutting hardwood, and the batteries still showed half charged. Very pleased with this purchase, and impressed that a saw at this price point exhibits such craftsmanship and quality performance. Thank You ReliaRoads!!

I got this saw to cut up large old trees for fire wood I wanted it to use twenty volt Dewalt batteries since I have many batteries and Dewalt tools. The saw works almost as well as a gas saw and beets trying to start it. I getting older and gas saws hard to pull Glad I found itDAVE

The tool initially worked well- for about 4 - 3 inch cuts before the chin came off. The chain came off because the bar clamping arrangement is inadequate. I was cleaning-up tree limbs brought down by storm Helene. That day was hampered by the necessity to reset the bar every few cuts. Amazon allowed a return.

This is quiet which is nice when you can’t be noisy. The batteries last just as long as other battery operated tools. I did a lot of cutting & the chain is still sharp.
