I own a bar that has 16 types of craft beer and every once a while we do have to change out the keg connector in. It never fails that my bartender somehow loses the Tomas valve. Then you end up with CO2 leaks and blown through a $60 canister of CO2 in one night! I bought these as back up even though sometimes my distributors will give me one or two I’d rather just have many on hand, so that we never have an issue.

Glue one of these and a silicone drinking tube to a plastic bottle cap and you've got a water-tight hard-bottle backpacking hydration system that's far better than any water bladder. This valve lets in air to replace the water you drink, but prevents water from leaking out. Juice or iced tea bottles with wide mouth caps work best.
