I’ve had it in my car for over a year, still works perfect. It’s bright enough, but the twinkles aren’t super noticeable when spread out on that long of a headliner — but still looks cool. It’s Bluetooth connects very fast though, and works perfectly in my Subaru Forester because I have a 12V in the trunk area. I’m not someone who likes to hardwire things like this.Obviously, if you are new to cars/never dropped a headliner it’s not a quick and easy installation. I’ve done numerous headliners so it takes me about 2-3 hours, but the more lights, the longer the process. It’s more difficult to do in sedans vs. hatchbacks or SUVs like mine, since with a sedan you can’t just yank the headliner out via the trunk. But the fiber optics are high quality, so you don’t have to worry about them tearing upon install. I braided mine down the center of the headliner, left the projector up in the top of the rear headliner, and snaked the power cord down a pillar to my 12V. But the power cord is LONG, so it could for sure be snaked under the carpet up to a center console 12V if needed.

I love these. They came in good condition and light up well. Honestly I haven't gotten to installation yet because it's a little intimidating. But it looks great, and I'm super excited to put them up!

Using these for a table I'm building using a steel frame and epoxy top. I'm using all the fibers but only about 10-18" of each strand in a wave pattern. The plan is for a metallic base layer with the fibers held in 3 total circular patterns from 2 fiber kits with 3 total bundles. Once they're held in the base epoxy, I can wave them out and trim them as needed before I pour a clear layer on top. The light source will be mounted under the colored layer so it'll be completely out of sight. The light are bright and this supply is a single bundle of fibers and I've got another 32w that has 2 leads. You can control the colors and patterns through the remote that's included or an app, which I have not tried yet. Comes with 12v car adapter and a 110v transformer for household electrical, so it can be used anywhere. Will update pictures of my project when I'm done but there's so many possibilities with these.

I installed this on our sema build and it works great. Had a problem with my first order missing the car plug so I quickly messaged them and they sent me a replacement. Finally got the replacement and installed them. Takes a few hours if you are installing your self but overall very worth it and you save yourself a couple hundred doing it yourself. Not hard work just very time consuming

Bought it and was sure if I was for the room, car, or Christmas decorations. Took my eye off it for a few seconds and the kids claimed it. It is extremely durable and does not have a bad plastic smell. Will buy more.
