There is a little small hole on the inside of the lid. When you are soaking your dishes to "do the dishes", the little hole fills up with water. It is super difficult to get the water out of the hole. This water can cause mold if left un dry inside of the container. For this reason, this thermos is useless to me. I don't want to expose myself to mold or rotten water due to the hole being impossible to clean.

The game controller thermos is a super fun design that is unisex and perfect for children, teens, and adults who have large appetites for soup and hot meals, it will hold a little over 2 cups of food, hot or cold. To temper, pour hot water or cold water into the thermos for about 3 minutes while you prep your food, dump it out and fill with your food of choice. It will keep warm or cold for hours. It has a handy carrying handle you can install or remove as needed, the top holds a folding spoon for convenience, the only thing I wish the spoon feature had was a spork end so if one was to eat pasta salad the spork would be fairly functional. However, the spoon will work well in most instances, otherwise plan to pack a fork or spork unless you can find a small folding one that will fit. The lid screws on and off, be sure that it is on properly and secure otherwise you may end up with leaks of fluids. Best if stored upright in a lunch bag or box.

I like a hot lunch so I got this container to keep my soup warm from morning to lunch. To test it I first poured some boiling water in it to preheat the container. Then I filled it with boiling water and measured the temperature decay vs time. At filling, the water termperature after 5 minutes was 204F. After 4 hours it was 154F. After 7 hours it was 134F. All of these large mouth vacuum containers lose a lot of heat out the top and this one is no different. The bottom of the container is light but well made. I found the attachment of the top to be not very robust. The top does have a small compartment with a fold up spoon inside which is a nice touch. All things considered it will work for my intended purpose.

Great thermos option for taking to work. It's more compact than thermoses I have had in the past and fits quite well in all of my lunch bags. All of the pieces are easy to clean. The spoon is an interesting slide-hinge situation. I was skeptical but it does seem to hold together pretty well in practice. Great option for camping or taking to work.

Love the fact I can take food for the kid and it stays warm or cold. He can choose almost anything for a snack to go with us.

My son really likes this, especially the spoons. Every time he tells me the food is still hot. This is definitely a great choice and is durable.
