This set is well machined and is smooth operation. I haven't been able to use it yet, but I have plans to do a clutch soon so I figured I'd get this as it really will help get things aligned for reassembly. There are no directions, but it's pretty easy to operate. You slide on the bushing onto the rod that fits the inner diameter of your clutch plate. Then, install the threaded bushing onto the rod using the size of your flywheel bushing or bearing. Then during reassembly of the clutch, have the alignment assembly inserted in the flywheel holding the clutch plate in place as you tighten up the pressure plate. Once the pressure plate is bolted down, pull out the alignment rig and you're ready to install the transmission. Quite easy. I only wish the seller would include diameters of the bushings in this kit - I'm taking a guess it will fit the car when I need to use it (minus one star for that)

Nice to have though not needed but some threads were stripped right out of the box.the plastic blow molded case has defects so some pieces don't sit flat, other than that it worksas intended. Though most clutch kits give you an alignment tool this is a good back up.
