Pros:- Really inexpensive- Power source garage is genius- Lots of useful sizes for customization- Decent (not awesome) carrying bag- Angle up should be industry standard- Terrific valueCons:- A little on the heavy side- Carry bag is not going to survive a lot of travelJust as good as boards that cost twice as much, with a smart angle and genius power garage.

Build quality on this is solid and great for the price. It may be slightly heavier than other boards, but I like a heavier board that won’t slide around on a slick floor. The feet also keep the bottom of the chassis off the floor which is great for environments where you might encounter encroaching liquids on the floor. The cutouts are well placed and the cage on the bottom works great to manage cables and is quite spacious to accommodate wall wart power adapters. (Some may require some creative positioning with your power supply)There is ample hook and loop tape for mounting provided. The bag offers minimal protection, but it’s nice for them to include at all for the price point. If you don’t treat your pedal board like a laptop and want to keep it protected, plan on getting a separate case.

This one is hard to believe it's only $60 considering how much everything else costs in this same genre. I recently bought a holeyboard for over 4 times what this one cost and, while it is much larger, I am surprised by how much more practical this pedal board is over the name brand one.For starters, it comes with a large role of industrial grade velcro, both m and f types. It also comes with a nice carrying bag that offers storage solutions for cables and other accessories. The pedalboard itself is made with what seems to be good quality metal. I haven't dropped a dresser on it or anything so I can't tell you its durability beyond the fact that it handles stomping stomp boxes just fine. Not only that, one thing I really like about this board besides it's size and portability, is the fact that it literally comes with a removable rack for power supplies! This is a big deal... I was so disappointed when I realized the hb pedal board I bought a few months ago didn't have this... I had to do some pretty invasive rigging to get the ps to stay put and it blocked access for a lot of my pedals cables and zip ties on the top row... this isn't an issue with this board, the rack allows the power supply to sit below the surface of the board so that you can still run zip ties, cables, etc... underneath those pedals without the ps getting in the way! It's easily removable, you don't even need tools to remove it and put it back in, the screws have knobs which makes hand tightening them a breeze. If you are looking for a smaller board to gig with that is dependable, portable, rugged, and a great value, you are going to be hard pressed to find a better option than this right here!

These budget pedalboards have come a long way in the last few years. This Soyan board will fit 8-10 normal boss-sized pedals, with plenty of room for a power supply, buffer, and maybe an always-on pedal you might use in the “power supply cradle” built underneath. The board itself is a pretty sturdy metal, and this one sits solidly on the ground with no wobble. The supply cradle underneath is quite roomy–I included photos of a couple of different power supplies nestled inside that area, but it’s worth noting that the space under there is quite large, and you could get 2 of a lot of power supply brick models in there easily. The carrying bag is quite decent, too–it’s a heavy cloth construction with some padding, and other than some loose threads on the inside that were easy to snip off, it appears to be well built. The zippers are solid, and there’s a decent amount of cable space in the outside zipper compartment as well. One slightly strange issue: upon unpacking it, the whole package smelled like this thing was made in the middle of an incense factory–I’ve never received anything from Amazon with such a strong incense smell before that wasn’t incense. It’s a good smell, actually, but it’s intense. It fades after a couple of days, but I thought it’s worth mentioning for anyone who is sensitive to strong odors. The package also comes with enough velcro to take care of the board and your set of pedals, and a shoulder strap that isn’t the most substantial strap that I’ve seen, but it will do the job (I might substitute a more padded strap once I’ve built this thing up, though). One other note: these are quite strong, but I wouldn't recommend putting volume, wah, or controller pedals on them--leave those on the floor. On the whole, I think this is a very well designed and constructed board, and for the price, it’s a bargain! I’m looking at picking up their next size up for a bigger setup, too, and frankly you could have both for about the price of one of the well-known pedalboard brands.
