To order a brine tank through Amazon is more than convenient. The safety float came pre-assembled which was a plus. The color is beige not blue, but no big deal. I ordered the grid because my old tank had it. The grid lets the water dissolve the salt pellets so the intake from the safety valve does not get clogged.

Arrived on time. Perfect replacement for my old worn out, 35 year old tank and float. Installed in minutes. I would absolutely purchase again but probably won't have to. I purchased a new salt grid plate as well since mine was shot. I ran a couple of cleaning cycles through my system and it's as good as new.

My old tank was leaking, and I couldn't find a replacement locally for my old softener.This one LOOKED like it would work, and after cutting the line off the old one, and plugging it into this one, and cycling the softener twice it's been working like it should.
