Used in the same torches I've used for years. Used with the same fuel I've used for years. But these wicks turned black and sticky, like tar, and I had to spend a good deal of time cleaning the goo off the torch from where it got stuck on there. Never had this happen before, makes me wonder if I got a bad batch or something. Anyway, your mileage may vary, but be sure to test them out before using them in your good torches.

The product is actually about 1/4" loose. Sure if you compress it down it'll measure less. But if you want 1/8" this isn't going to work.

works great with paraffin. draws paraffin faster than cotton wicks. the tip doesn't get burned much because it is fiber glass. harder to trim thank cotton ones.
